This week marks another step forward in the Myeloma UK research story with the publication of a new research strategy for the next 5 years. The strategy brings together Myeloma UK’s peer reviewed grant activity with its applied health research capacity; delivering research impact through a unique ability to harness both large scale insight from people living with myeloma and investment in the clinical and research community. To realise our research ambition, we are committed to raising and investing £5m to fund landmark research projects between now and 2030. From 2026 we will issue annual grant calls of up to £1m over 5 years, in line with the strategy.
