Consider a patient you have cared for with myeloma. What were the investigations that were undertaken and how was the patient staged? You may need to look again at the case notes or discuss with a medical colleague if you are unsure about any of the results and what they mean.
As guided by current knowledge, what is their likely current prognosis and did this affect the treatment choices made with their medical team?
How would this knowledge change or have an impact on the discussions you have with your patients regarding their treatment decisions, response to treatment and outlook?
