Antibody-drug conjugates

The first antibody-drug conjugate to be approved in the UK, belantamab mafodotin (Blenrep®) is outlined in Module 5. Clinical trials and approval processes are ongoing to investigate this drug in different combinations and at different lines of therapy. As well as clinical trials to investigate the efficacy of new treatments, it is also important to improve knowledge and management of major side effects. The ProMMise-D arm of the ProMMise trial is exploring clinician-led management of belantamab mafodotin eye-toxicity.
