This evidence-based module explores the pathophysiology of cancer and the principles of systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT), while addressing the essential legal, ethical, and safety considerations involved. You will gain the expertise to manage common side effects of SACT and understand its impact on a patient’s physical, psychological, and social wellbeing.
Aligned with the RCN/UKONS/HEE (2022) Career Pathway and Education Framework, this module links theory with real-world outcomes, offering learners the opportunity to develop advanced practice in cancer care. However, practical clinical competence will require further assessment in accordance with local trust policies.
Ideal for those with at least six months’ experience in a SACT environment, this is your chance to deepen your impact in oncology through current research and evidence-based practice.
