Digital Infosession: To transplant or not to transplant – that is the question
Myeloma UK and the UK Myeloma Society (UKMS) are pleased to share the recording of this practical digital session, held on 25 March 2026.
Chaired by Dr Jennifer Travers, Consultant Haematologist at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, the webinar focused on how transplant and non-transplant decisions are approached in current myeloma practice.
The session explored how clinicians weigh up different treatment options, how these discussions are handled with patients at diagnosis, and how patient preferences and priorities are incorporated into shared decision making. Through a multidisciplinary team perspective and case-based discussion, speakers shared practical insights grounded in everyday clinical practice.
