MyPOS

MyPOS is a myeloma-specific adaptation of the Palliative care Outcome Scale (POS), developed and validated to address the unique quality of life concerns associated with myeloma.

Unlike generic quality of life measures, MyPOS is tailored specifically to the physical, emotional, and social challenges faced by individuals with myeloma, making it a more precise tool for assessing their well-being. This tool is designed for use in clinical care, allowing healthcare professionals to monitor the disease’s impact on patients’ daily lives and their response to treatments. By capturing myeloma-specific issues such as pain, fatigue, emotional distress, and the effects on personal relationships, MyPOS provides valuable insights that help guide patient-centered care and improve overall quality of life management.

Healthcare professionals can register to access MyPOS at http://pos-pal.org/maix/mypos.php or download it directly from this page.
