Back in October we heard from Professor Graham Jackson and Myeloma Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Sue Robb as they told us all about their wonderful experience taking part in the Myeloma UK London Paris Ride.

This year, we are delighted to launch a brand new event. The first Myeloma UK Jurassic Coast Hike will take place 19-21 September. Join us along this stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site to help power the work that we do to support myeloma patients across the UK.

This two-day, 20 mile hike has it all, sweeping sea views, fossil spotting and visits to famous landmarks, culminating at the iconic Durdle Door.

Funds raised will provide support and patient information, fund research and help us fight for access to new treatments, finding new ways towards a cure. Be part of the Myeloma UK team, making memories and friends as you hike along the beautiful Jurassic Coast.

Fundraising fun – anywhere, anytime

If you prefer something less active, then there are lots of ways to get involved with fundraising at home, at work or in your community too.

Kerry Watson, Lead Macmillan Haematology Specialist Nurse, organised her successful event with the Teesside Support Group, held at Butterwick Hospice.

Kerry and the team of nurses held a raffle and tombola raising £185 for Myeloma UK. Thanks to support like this we’re making it possible to live longer and better lives with myeloma. We can only achieve this thanks to your support through donations, fundraising and gifts in wills. We receive no government or NHS funding.

The choice of activities and events are endless – what about organising a coffee morning?

Every brew you make and every cake you bake, you will be supporting myeloma patients across the UK. Sign up to organise your coffee morning today.

There are so many exciting ways to become a fundraising hero in 2025. There’s something to suit everyone and our fantastic fundraising team will help support you every step of the way.

By helping to fund research and fighting for access to new treatments, together we’re finding new ways to a cure.
